 I met waya when I was in my second year of high school.

Speaking of me when I was in my second year of high school, when I was doing the most troublesome way (laughs)

I was in the middle of what I call puberty. (I want to kneel on the ground to my teacher and family! Really!)

This is because when I was in high school, I had a lot of troubles related to human relationships, and I didn't know where to put them all, so I withdrew into my shell.

 

Of course, I met my favorite friends and teachers, and I have many memories of my high school life, but back then, I was always fighting with myself.

Anyway, I didn't have confidence in myself, so I vented my troubles in other ways.

(Moreover, it was a super yakiniku JK who goes to get the original with all-you-can-eat)

 

One day like that.

All the grades gathered in the gymnasium, saying, "Today, a student of Mr. XX will come and give a lecture."

 

I was a bit lost, and I remember waiting for this session to start thinking, "Hmm, this is a lecture." (I want to apologize in many ways... lol)

 

Then, Ryohei-san and Shun-san, two of the three founding members of waya, visited.

It was only a year after the guest house waya was established.

In conclusion,How this lecture changed my lifeIt will be.

 

 

Anyway, today's lecture was a lot of fun.I was thrilled.

I thought, "Hmm, this is a lecture," but I straightened my posture and leaned forward with my eyes twinkling as I listened.It was a time when I was so moved that I was spending my time without any dreams or goals.

And the summer of the second year of high school.

I decided to participate in an internship sponsored by the high school, thinking that if I continued like this, my high school life would end "somehow".

 

At the bottom of the list of internship destinations

I found the letters "Guest house waya".

 

I jumped up and down and decided, "I'm here!!!"

And we won big!smile

 

 

From here, the story on waya begins in earnest.

 

A two-day internship during the summer vacation of my sophomore year of high school.

It was a hot summer day that made me feel nervous.

What if I get lost and arrive too early

Shun-san and Ryohei-san from waya welcomed us.

This day is waya's work experience

Making the bed, cleaning, and eating together.

Talking with guests and listening to stories about helpers' trips.

He gave a presentation for us who are internships.

What made me happy at that time? I was so happy.It was comfortable.

 

It was a day when I came to like myself a little, who I thought was nothing.

 

I also met a university student who was a helper.

"I'm traveling around Japan by bicycle, and I've been in Sapporo for about two weeks now!"I was so excited...!

 

 

I never thought he would come back as a staff member of waya after graduating from university!smile

That's right, it was former waya manager Keisuke!

I was able to meet again after a few years with a wonderful encounter.

 

After a two-day internship, I changed my course after high school.

Say, "I want to see more of the world!"

 

After that, I worked as a helper at waya and worked at a singing ice cream shop that I always wanted to work for.Traveling in Southeast Asia, going abroad to build a house, and traveling to Japan.I spent my college life like that.After graduating, I opened a business trip cafe for half a year until I became a waya staff, and I also opened a rented cafe in waya.

What would you say if you knew that you were a staff member when you were in high school?

A dream come true!I think I'm happy.

 

Waya was the beginning of my journey.

If I hadn't met waya, I wouldn't be who I am today.

In order to fulfill this wish, "I want to make a guest house and a cafe someday! I kept thinking.I am still dreaming about this dream.

 

And since I was in high school, I often hummed, "I want to work at waya someday! ’ means.I can't believe it will come true after 8 years. . . !I am filled with happiness.

 

I would like to thank many people.

 

I can't do anything by myself, and I'm too clumsy to fall and get up all the time. I really feel blessed by the people around me.I may fall over and over again, but I want to stand up properly.

 

I am very happy to be able to start my new journey with waya's new chapter.

 

We will create a new waya while cherishing the past of waya.

 

I'm still developing, but it would be nice if everyone could see various worlds from waya.I wish I could have many adventures!

　

 

Waya was a share house and a shared kitchen after entering the corona misfortune.We will reprint for the first time in three years while cherishing the feelings of everyone who connected us.

 

I'm going to play a role to warm up the place that makes me want to go back again!

 

 

For me too, this is the beginning of the journey.

I'm in the process of developing, but that's why it would be nice if we could create "everyone".
