Everyone I met on the trip taught me a lot.

The events during the trip had a great influence on me as a student.
One of the most memorable things is that when I was 21, I took a leave of absence from college and traveled all over Japan by bicycle.
It was an eight-month bicycle trip, and I was able to meet many scenery and people during that time.
I think I have grown up with the people I met while traveling.
That is why I would like all students to enjoy their trip to their heart's content.


Three years have passed since then.
Without that bicycle trip, you wouldn't be here at "Guesthouse Waya".
I am really grateful to all the people I met on the trip.
I'm from Kyushu, but I never imagined that I would live in Hokkaido, the northern land.
Of course, I was a little nervous when I decided to move to Hokkaido.
(Now I am enjoying the great outdoors of Hokkaido !!)
When I was worried about moving to Hokkaido, a friend said that everything went well.
"Live as the water flows."
At that time, I felt like an electric shock was running, but now it's a word I cherish when I'm having trouble making a choice.
I think the trip is the same.

The scenery you can see in front of you can only be seen now.
I will never see it tomorrow.
Every day is a series of choices, and every road makes the best trip.
I don't want to waste time worrying about it, and I want to move forward so that water flows in the river.
